影响英语动词的时态使用的因素之一

语言离不开语境，所以时态的选用与上下文语境紧密相关，也与一些句型、时间状语、标志性的词语相关。下面我们就来看看那些标志性词和句型所选用的时态吧

usually，often，always，sometimes， regularly，occasionally，every year常与一般现在时连用；now，right now，at the moment，for the time being，for the present等常与现在进行时连用；by后接表过去的时间常与过去完成时连用；since，for构成的时间状语以及so far, up to now, many times, up to the present等常用于现在完成时。
注意：在英语中，有些时态在某些特殊句式中有特定的表达，主要有：
1.在"It is the first/second... time (that) + 主语+ have/has done"句型中,从句谓语用现在完成时;如
It is the third time (that) he has seen the film. 他是第三次看这部电影了。
2. no sooner...than...; hardly/scarcely...when...这些结构的时态搭配：主句谓语动词应用过去完成时，而than和when引导的从句中谓语动词应用一般过去时，此外，当把no sooner和hardly/scarcely提到句首时，应用倒装语序。如：
I had hardly got home when it began to rain. 我刚到家天就下起雨来。
